John Worley and WorlView 5.0 live March 11th at Yoshi's Oakland

Hi Friends,

In case you haven't heard, I have some great news to tell you. On March 11th, my band, WorlView 5.0 will be making its first appearance at Yoshi's on Jack London Square in Oakland. I've had the pleasure of playing there with a number of artists from Stanley Clarke, Mel Martin Big Band, Wayne Wallace, Jon Jang and most recently, vocalist Jamie Davis. However, these Tuesday evening performances (8 & 10 pm) will be WorlView's debut at one of the finest jazz venues on the West Coast with a stellar reputation in the music world.

Since the start of WorlView in the summer of 2004, we've had the privilege of performing at the San Jose Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, Jazz at Filoli, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Intersection for the Arts in San Francisco, the deYoung Museum, the Jazz School in Berkeley and other fine venues. To add Yoshi's to the list is truly an honor.

I hope that you can join us on March 11th to share this special evening with Murray Low, Tom Bockhold, Paul vanWageningen, Michaelle Goerlitz and myself. Please be sure to stop by and say "Hello" so we can thank you for supporting not only WorlView and Yoshi's but America's original art form and national treasure, Jazz.

The show times are 8 and 10 pm. For more info, click on this link.

Note: San Jose Jazz Society members will be able to receive an incredible special one-night only discount on my Worlview CD and new "Jazz Is..." poster - only $10 for both items! What a great "Thank you" sale. Please be sure to show your current membership card to receive this offer.

Sincerely,

John L. Worley Jr and WorlView 5.0
